The Student Representative Council is made up of selected and volunteering students from Year 7 through to Year 12. Their aims are to provide a voice for the students at Montmorency Secondary College as well providing an opportunity to show initiative and leadership.

The SRC is head by one teacher and four Year 12 College Captains. There are also Middle School Captains whom work closer with the younger students. House Captains are given the responsibility to help run house events as well as making them more enjoyable for students.

The SRC is divided into sub groups; including student well-being which targets bullying and the health of the other students, fundraising who raise money for national charities and community involvement that help in the local area.

Attending weekly meeting and working with the Principal and teachers, the SRC have built a strong program around the school. They have had representatives attended several leadership conferences
